The Bravo Fleet Logistics Officer (BFLO) is a voting member of Bravo Fleet Command responsible for managing Bravo Fleet's Prestige System, the Fleet Assets system, and the Fleet Registry system. This position is established under Article III of the Bravo Fleet Charter.
General Duties
- Operating the Bravo Fleet Logistic Office;
- Overseeing Bravo Fleet's Prestige System, the Fleet Assets system, and the Fleet Registry system (in conjunction with the Bravo Fleet Intelligence Officer).
Specific Duties
Overseeing the Prestige System
- Processing purchase requests from members, including approval or denial of purchases as per the Logistics Office Policy;
- Assessment of the Prestige System and the Fleet Assets System to ensure that balance is being maintained in the fleet's economy;
- Ideating on future expansions of the systems, by looking at new ways to innovate or add to the system as the years progress.
Overseeing the Fleet Registry & Asset Systems
- Maintaining the ship registry system and ship names in conjunction with the Intel department;
- Update the Bravo Fleet Wiki when an asset is taken by a member or returns to the pool, in conjunction with the Bravo Fleet Science Officer.
In Character Role
The Bravo Fleet Logistics Officer serves as the in-character Director of Fleet Logistics for the Fourth Fleet. They are responsible for overseeing the strategic allocation and deployment of key logistical resources across the fleet’s task forces. Working closely with other department heads, the Director of Fleet Logistics ensures that starships, stations, personnel, equipment, and critical supplies are assigned where they are needed most.
