The USS Sirius (NCC-80002) is an Odyssey-class starship assigned to the Fourth Fleet under the command of Commodore Matt Rourke and the flagship of Sirius Squadron. As the lead ship of a rapid response formation, the Sirius is equipped to serve as a multi-mission vessel. She is regularly dispatched to emerging situations where the mission profile may include multiple unknowns or is expected to change quickly or unpredictably. The Sirius also acts as a mobile base of operations for the rest of the squadron, providing resources, supplies, and command-and-control facilities when the unit is on deployment.
