USS Wakefield NCC-95168 is an Edison-class Federation starship currently assigned to Fourth Fleet's Task Force 17.
The crew are assigned to provide support to the operational duties of the USS Saturn and travel as their protection into the unknown natural barrier known as Grim Wall. Occasionally the Saturn Division can cross the borders for diplomatic reasons into Klingon space or can be found in different areas. This is where Wakefield needs to shine, to provide protection for the large research vessel.
