Operating from Eos Station (DS108), a revitalized Watchtower  starbase, the Eos Frontier Division is based out of the rough Alpha Doradus system . Operating near the politically unstable regions of Freecloud and T'Met, the division faces threats from splintered Romulan factions, opportunistic pirates, and smuggling rings. The Division consists of aging, overlooked vessels from Starfleet’s past. Vessels with histories as long as their service records. Under the leadership of Captain Elena Mitchell, the Division has proven that even forgotten relics can rise to meet any challenges.
Following the collapse of the Romulan Star Empire, the Alpha Doradus Corridor has become a magnet for smugglers, warlords, and syndicates vying for control. Amid this fractured frontier, the Phoenix Frontier Squadron is Starfleet’s adaptive response; part law enforcement, part intelligence agency, part diplomatic wildcard.

History
* Intelligence Gathering: Monitor Romulan activity, Consortium Operations, and illegal trade.
Originally commissioned in 2293, Eos Station was a strategic outpost guarding the Romulan Neutral Zone. Decades of neglect and shifting priorities turned it into an aging relic with outdated systems and a diminished purpose. By the late 24th century, the station had become a forgotten footnote in Starfleet’s history.
* Border Patrol: Intercept illicit shipments and deter pirate activity.

* Rapid Response: Conduct reconnaissance, rescue missions, and defensive operations.
In 2400, the collapse of the Romulan Star Empire revitalized the Alpha Doradus sector. Eos Station was reactivated, its systems modernized, and its new purpose defined as the command hub for the Eos Frontier Division. With the USS Edison (Edison-class) joining the division , operations began.
* Diplomatic & Crisis Management: Negotiate in dangerous situations and oversee humanitarian efforts.

In 2402, following a hard battle with Orion pirates, the USS Edison was reassigned, making way for the arrival of a new addition, the USS Yeager (Saber-Class). Like Eos itself, the Division represents Starfleet’s forgotten past, ready to face new challenges on the frontier.

"Peace is not the absence of conflict, but the presence of justice."
    —Martin Luther King Jr.

Summary

Following the collapse of the Romulan Star Empire, the Alpha Doradus Corridor has become a magnet for smugglers, warlords, and syndicates vying for control. Amid this fractured frontier, the Phoenix Frontier Squadron is Starfleet’s adaptive response; part law enforcement, part intelligence agency, part diplomatic wildcard.

Driven more by necessity than regulation, the Squadron is tasked with stabilizing shipping lanes, monitoring illicit activity, and navigating the morally gray zones where peace is bought, not protected. At its core: the USS Phoenix, a Ross-class starship serving as a mobile command center and operational hub in this volatile region. Without a fixed station to anchor them, the Phoenix acts as both tactical headquarters and diplomatic envoy in a space where allegiances are fluid and every cargo hold tells a different story.

The squadron was made defunct in 2402 when all assets were reassigned to other duties.

Mission

 • Intelligence Gathering: Monitor Romulan activity, Consortium Operations, and illegal trade.
 • Border Patrol: Intercept illicit shipments and deter pirate activity.
 • Rapid Response: Conduct reconnaissance, rescue missions, and defensive operations.
 • Diplomatic & Crisis Management: Negotiate in dangerous situations and oversee humanitarian efforts.
